Meet Nora

Being First-Gen Isn't a Barrier.
It's a Superpower.

Hi, I’m Nora!

Before the titles, degrees, and professional headshots, I was just a first-gen girl trying to figure everything out with limited guidance, a lot of pressure, and a slightly concerning amount of optimism.

As the eldest daughter of immigrants, I grew up knowing college was the goal — but nobody really explained how to get there, what to expect, or how expensive everything would be. So like many first gens, I figured things out the hard way.

I genuinely thought FAFSA was going to magically pay for college. Meanwhile, I was secretly Googling things like “What major should I choose?”, “How do credit scores work?”, and “What am I actually supposed to do after graduation?”

And the craziest part? Being first-gen doesn’t end after graduation. Careers, finances, adulthood, imposter syndrome — suddenly you’re navigating all of it without a blueprint.

That’s why I created The First Gen Club.

A space where first gens can ask questions openly, learn the things nobody taught us growing up, and navigate life with people who truly get it.

Because being first-gen was never a weakness. If anything, it proves how capable we’ve always been.

And now? We don’t have to figure it all out alone anymore.
